Insurance & Payments

Understanding Our Payment Model

We believe in transparency. Here's everything you need to know about how our concierge model works and what it means for you.

Why We Do Things Differently

At Concierge Endocrinology, we know your time is valuable and you deserve the best highly skilled and compassionate care. You will have ample time with the doctor and quick easy access.

To deliver this, we see far fewer patients than the average endocrinologist and so we do not "accept" or participate with any insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial (private) insurance like Blue Cross, Aetna, United, etc.

What This Means For You

More Time

Ample time with your doctor to discuss all your concerns — no rushed 7-minute visits.

Better Care

Fewer patients means more thorough, personalized attention for each person we see.

No Hidden Fees

No membership fees of any kind. You only pay for your visits. Labs and meds are usually covered.

Payment Options

Out-of-Network Reimbursement

If you have out-of-network benefits, pay at time of visit and submit our bill to your insurance for potential reimbursement. We provide all necessary documentation.

FSA / HSA Eligible

Our services qualify as eligible expenses for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA). Use funds you've already set aside.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our payment model and insurance.

Do you take insurance?

Not exactly. We do not "accept" or participate with any insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, or commercial (private) insurance like Blue Cross, Aetna, United, etc. This is what allows us to spend significantly more time with each patient and provide truly personalized care.

Can I still use my insurance?

If you have 'out of network' benefits, you would pay your bill directly at the time of your visit, but you may get reimbursement from your insurance company once you submit our bill yourself. We provide you with all the documentation you need.

What if I don't have out-of-network benefits?

Then we are simply out of pocket. Depending on your medical condition, it may be just a few visits to figure things out or a few visits per year for the incredibly thorough and expert care you will receive.

Are there membership fees?

No. We have no membership fees of any kind. You only pay for your visits.

What about labs, medications, and imaging?

Medicines, lab tests, and radiology are usually covered by your insurance like normal. Check with your insurance company for details.

Can I use my FSA or HSA?

Yes! Consider using your FSA or HSA account funds with us. You may already have placed funds in the account for this purpose. Our services are eligible expenses.
