Tanzila Razzaki, MD

Dr. Razzaki joined Concierge Endocrinology in January 2023 and is an endocrinologist specializing in providing cutting-edge treatment for obesity, type 2 diabetes, thyroid, and other metabolic and endocrine disorders.  She is triple board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; Obesity Medicine, as well as Internal Medicine. 


Dr. Razzaki is a very rare specialists having completed 3 dedicated post-graduate trainings: a fellowship in Obesity Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism Fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, and a three-year residency in Internal Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. 


She has received numerous competitive academic awards during her various training including intern and resident of the month. Dr. Razzaki has a special interest in Obesity Medicine, Type II Diabetes Mellitus, metabolic syndrome, and thyroid conditions. She has been a key contributor to research studies related to
obesity and diabetes mellitus and has published her work in peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented her work at national medical conferences.

B. Gabriel Smolarz, MD, MBA, MS, FACE

Dr. Smolarz is a graduate from the University of Virginia where he finished his premedical preparations and obtained his B.A. in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Bioethics.  He simultaneously earned his M.D. and Master's of Science in Bioethics at Albany Medical College.  

 

After completing his internship and residency in internal medicine with distinction in research at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, he became board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Smolarz went on to the University of Pennsylvania where he completed his endocrinology fellowship and became board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism.  He is board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine

 

Dr. Smolarz is Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and routinely teaches medical students and resident physicians. He is an international speaker and lecturer on thyroid disease, obesity, diabetes, and medical education. When not seeing patients, he works at Novo Nordisk as a medical director in medical affairs for obesity.

Erica Levin, BS

Erica is currently a medical student and has a long-standing interest in pediatric endocrinology. She graduated from The College of New Jersey, where she received her B.S. in Biology and minor in Psychology. Erica has also had previous experience working in a general pediatric practice as a medical technician. She is available to answer any questions you may have about Concierge Endocrinology!

Cates Reyes, RN

Cates completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Joseph's College in 2009. She works tirelessly to make sure documents related to your care including chart notes, faxes, and medication and radiology prior authorizations, are handled expertly.  She has specialized training in HIPAA compliance, coding, and virtual assistance certification.
